  • The address that the Mercury communicates with is: http://www.hudl.com/api
  • Mercury uploads video over port 80 to Amazon S3 to *.s3.amazonaws.com where the * is a list of possible servers
  • Mercury updates itself from the web, you’ll need to clear: http://updates.hudl.com

Publishing Video with Video Editor

  • The address that Video Editor communicates with is: http://www.hudl.com/api
  • The Video Editor uploads video over port 80 to Amazon S3 to *.s3.amazonaws.com where the * is a list of possible servers

Watching Video on Hudl.com

  • Need access to Hudl.com
  • Need to let Silverlight applications work
  • Need to let WMV videos and mp4 videos stream (Most firewalls can let WMV’s and mp4’s stream for just one website. If this is the case, they need to clear it for Hudl.com)
  • The videos stream down from http://*.hudl.com/ - these sites will need to be cleared

Allowing Emails from Hudl:

  • Whitelist “@hudl.com” through any email filters (such as Barracuda filters)
  • Add support@hudl.com and no-reply@hudl.com to email filters
