Mac for Mercury will allow you to load video files saved on your computer directly into Hudl. This will be useful if you have video on a hard drive camera or if you receive video from a different online video exchange program.
Before starting this tutorial, make sure you have installed Mac for Mercury on your Mac computer. Check out the Getting Started with Mercury for Mac tutorial for more information on installing the software.

- Connect the camera or external media device to your computer.
- Once the camera or storage is connected, the device will automatically appear. Click on the device and Mercury for Mac will list the video and organize it by date.
- Click the Next button when you have selected the desired media files and Mercury for Mac will automatically begin loading your video.
- The Review Your Clips screen will automatically appear when the DVD has finished loading.
Edit and Review Your Video
Mac for Mercury will automatically cut your video into individual clips. Then you will be able to edit the clips by using the split, merge, and delete tools. For help editing your clips once they have loaded, see the Edit and Review Your Video with Mercury for Mac tutorial.
