Natalie's Dog Days

Alt textNatalie Ebke thinks things through. When it comes to answering a coach’s question, Natalie will take the time to scour support for the best possible solution. And if you were to approach her, she’d carefully consider how well you know one another before deciding on a hug or knucks.

Unless you’re Oprah. Oprah could offer Natalie the weirdest job and she’d give Miss Winfrey the biggest hug before dropping everything to take it.

She’d also drop everything for snacks. Nobody’s perfect, okay?

“I was born in Sioux Falls, S.D. on the coldest day of the year (-27° F to be exact). Thankfully, we ended up moving back to the good ol’ city of Lincoln, Neb. just a few months later. Growing up, I definitely fell under the “tom boy” category and played every sport possible – it didn’t hurt that I was a foot taller than all the boys. But the countless practices and games paid off, and I ended up playing volleyball for the University of Nebraska at Omaha. While I was there, I got a degree in business administration and learned a lot about Warren Buffett.

“I joined the Coach Relations team in June 2013 and have officially made it through my first year. My daily responsibilities consist of helping coaches via phone calls, emails, chats, and remote sessions. Just keeping them happy and getting them what they need as quickly as possible. It’s awesome to work with such an amazing team that loves to help people every single day.”

Describe your average day at Hudl in eight words or less.
Helping coaches, lots of ESPN, lock your computer.

What’s your preferred mode of transportation?
In a perfect world, I would love to be able to fly around on my bed. I would never have to leave it. Doesn’t get much better.

Do you have passion? For what?
Food. You can pretty much win me over with any kind of food. I think Brew and Sketch can attest to this – they can convince me to eat a donut any day of the week. I’m nowhere near Rachael Ray, but I would love to be able to cook amazing meals and throw the best dinner parties.

What’s the most relaxed you’ve ever been?
Laying in a hammock next to the beach at sunset. I’ve never actually done that, but I assume it would top the list for most relaxing.

What big moment do you wish you had a photo of?
A picture of Matt Saracen and Tim Riggins at the first filming of Friday Night Lights.

What’s a nonexistent Hudl feature that you’d love to magically add?
Coaches could place their cameras next to a computer and press a magical button, then all of a sudden their video starts playing online. That would save a loooot of phone calls.

If you were a cat or dog that could choose its owner, who would you choose?
Oh wow, that’s tough. I’d probably have to go with Lisa Vanderpump from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She will NEVER go anywhere without her dog. Plus, it gets to wear clothes more expensive than mine.
