Support's Last "Quiet" Month

Alt textJuly is over and we can definitely tell football season is getting closer. We saw a pretty dramatic uptick in every method of communication, which is exactly what we wanted. As we start the craziest couple of months we’ve ever had in Hudl Support, let’s reflect on the last “free” month of the year.

We took 3,849 calls during the month of July, which is about 1,300 more than we took in June. That number is quite a bit lower than last July, but we didn’t have a major acquisition to handle like last summer. A portion of those calls were for our preseason computer tune-up, so hopefully that alleviates some of the calls we would normally get as games get underway.

Yet again, we took more emails than phone calls. We crushed 3,942 of them, which was about 1,000 more than June and over 60% more than what we took last July. We also answered 1,112 chats.

The average hold time for the month was just 31 seconds, which continues our downward trend despite the growth in phone calls. I’m not sure if we can get any lower, but we’re going to try!

As you can imagine, we also saw an increase in our surveys that we got back. Of the 818 we received:
- 805 (98.4%) said their experience was awesome.
- 814 (99.5%) said they would hire the rep they worked with.

We had a great July getting ready for the 2013 season, but we know that the next four months is where we really earn our keep. We promise not to answer the phone like this. (Okay, maybe once or twice.)

Please call/email/chat/tweet us with any questions or issues that you have. We want to make sure Hudl helps you dominate this football season. Good luck to all of our coaches as camps and games start back up!
