Caitlin's perfect date with Winnie the Pooh. Wait, that's not right.

Caitlin D

It’s no secret we’re a bunch of nerds who love sports, but when Caitlin Donohoe tells you she loves sports, she means it.

She has a pretty polarizing list of favorite teams, including the New York Yankees and Creighton Bluejay basketball. You can try arguing with her about either, but you may not make it out alive.

Lucky for us, that same passion fuels her work with our Coach Relations team. We also lucked out in her decision to stick around Lincoln, Neb. for a while. She’s never been the kind of person to stay in one place for too long.

“Most Hudlies have lived in the same area most of their life, whereas I have a pretty hectic geographical history. I hope you can keep up with it.

“I have lived in two countries, called six states and nine cities home, and attended ten different schools. I ended up staying in Nebraska and graduated from Papillion South High School. After attending a University of Nebraska-Lincoln football game, the Huskers stole my heart and persuaded me to stay here even longer.

“I graduated from UNL with two degrees, art history and sociology, and am a proud alumna of my sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi. Both of my brothers are fellow Huskers and still hanging out in the Midwest, whereas our parents are out east enjoying the warm(er) weather and fresh seafood. Hudl is my first big girl job out of college and it has been a great experience so far!”

What’s number one on your bucket list?
That’s easy. Spend as much time as possible in Egypt to explore the pyramids and the Museum of Cairo. I have had an obsession with the ancient Egyptian culture for as long as I can remember, so much that even I got a tattoo of a hieroglyph.

Describe the perfect date.
People still go on dates? I suppose a good date would be something active rather than sitting at dinner or in a movie. If someone really knew me, they would take me to a baseball game and then out for a couple of drinks afterwards. Nothing beats being outside in the fresh air enjoying each other’s company while cheering on your team!

Who’s your favorite cartoon character?
Winnie the Pooh. I’m not sure why he’s my favorite, but I still sleep with my stuffed Pooh bear that I got when I was a baby. It’s probably something to do with how kind and loving he is, and the fact that he can chow down like a boss.

Describe the Hudl office in three words.
Inventive, fun, and evolving.

What are you most likely to jam out to while you work?
Dave Matthews Band. I currently have a DMB playlist that is two days long.

Tell me a joke.
#Nebrasketball Caitlin’s views do not reflect those of Hudl or other Hudlies, especially not those of @BGHudl.
