It’s official. Your Hudl video library is now available on iPad. Click here to download it from the App Store. It’s free.
We can’t fathom a better device for comfortably and naturally watching your team’s video than iPad. The playback is incredibly smooth. We even have a demo account for non-Hudl users to give it a spin.
If you don’t have an iPad yet, be warned: the demo video below may convince you to buy one—credit card payments be damned.

I was going to post a bunch of screenshots and try to describe (in words) how the app works. I couldn’t do it justice. Video it is, then:
Plans for the Future
Our development team is hard at work on the next version. How could it help you win? Let us know. Here’s our short list of enhancements:
- Allow downloading video locally to the iPad so you can watch video on the road, plane, or anywhere without a connection.
- Provide a better way to interact with the data in a playlist (think Analyze button on Hudl.com).
- Explore versions of the app for other iOS devices (iPod Touch, iPhone).
Thanks to all the coaches, assistants, and players who’ve given us feedback on the app prior to its release. We know we couldn’t have done it without you.
Kyle is Hudl’s user experience designer. He’d love to hear from you if you’ve ever had a particularly good or bad experience with Hudl.
